ConnectWise RMM setup instructions

API access key (client ID + secret)

To connect Dex to ConnectWise RMM, you generate an API access key (Client ID + Client Secret) from the Asio platform integrations settings.

Steps

1Log in to My ConnectWise Hub, hover over the ASIO Platform tile, and click Launch.
2In the ConnectWise RMM (Asio) console, open Integrations in the left menu.
3Select API Access and click Generate API Access.
4Enter an API key name and description, then select the required scopes and accept the consent.
5Click Generate — a panel displays the Client ID and Client Secret.
6Copy both immediately and note your regional API base URL — the secret cannot be recovered if lost.

Paste into Dex

The connection form in the Dex app store asks for these values:

Client ID

Client Secret

Shown only once; regenerate if lost.

Region / API base URL

Asio region-specific endpoint (NA/EU/AU).
