Freshdesk setup instructions

API key

To connect Dex to Freshdesk, you need to find your Freshdesk domain and your API key.

Steps

1Find your Freshdesk Domain — the subdomain of your Freshdesk instance (e.g., yourcompany.freshdesk.com).
2Log in to your Freshdesk agent portal.
3Click on your Profile icon in the top-right corner and select Profile Settings.
4Your API key will be visible on the right sidebar — copy it to use below.

Paste into Dex

The connection form in the Dex app store asks for these values:

Freshdesk Domain

e.g. yourcompany.freshdesk.com
