Lansweeper setup instructions

OAuth2 application + Site ID

To connect Dex to Lansweeper Cloud, you register an API application (client ID + secret) in Developer tools and note your Site ID.

Steps

1Log in to Lansweeper Cloud (app.lansweeper.com).
2In the bottom-left, go to Settings → Developer tools.
3Click Add new API client / Add application.
4Choose the Application (client credentials) type rather than a Personal Access Token, and grant the sites the client may access.
5Copy the Client ID and Client Secret — the secret is shown only once.
6Find your Site ID under Configuration → Site settings; all API queries must be scoped to this site.

Paste into Dex

The connection form in the Dex app store asks for these values:

Client ID

Client Secret

Shown only once at creation.

Site ID

From Configuration → Site settings; required to scope queries.
