To connect Dex to your Slack workspace for administration, you need to create a custom Slack App and gather the required credentials.
Steps
1Go to Slack API: Applications (api.slack.com/apps) and click Create New App, then select From scratch.
2Name your app (e.g., "Dex App Management") and select your Slack workspace.
3Navigate to OAuth & Permissions in the left sidebar. Under Scopes > Bot Token Scopes, add: channels:read, channels:manage, groups:read, usergroups:read, chat:write, users:read, and users:read.email.
4Scroll to the top of the OAuth & Permissions page, click Install to Workspace, authorize, then copy the Bot User OAuth Token (starts with xoxb-).
5Navigate to Basic Information; under App Credentials, copy the App ID (starts with A) and the Signing Secret.
