To connect Dex to a Slack channel, you create a Slack app with basic bot scopes, install it, copy the Bot User OAuth Token, then invite the bot to the channel and grab the channel ID.
Steps
1Go to api.slack.com/apps and click Create New App → From scratch, then pick your workspace.
2Open OAuth & Permissions, and under Scopes → Bot Token Scopes add chat:write and channels:read.
3Click Install to Workspace at the top of OAuth & Permissions, then click Allow.
4Copy the Bot User OAuth Token (starts with xoxb-) from the OAuth & Permissions page.
5In Slack, open the target channel and type /invite @YourApp to add the bot to the channel.
6Get the channel ID via View channel details (looks like C01234A5BCD), then paste the token and channel ID into Dex.

The connection form in the Dex app store asks for these values:
Bot User OAuth Token
Starts with xoxb-; on the OAuth & Permissions page after install.
Channel ID
Looks like C01234A5BCD; from the channel's Copy link or View channel details.
