Splashtop setup instructions
Web API Token To connect Dex to Splashtop, you need to generate a Web API Token from the Splashtop web console.
Steps
- 1Log into your Splashtop Web Console as a Team Owner or Super Admin.
- 2Navigate to the top-right user menu and select Account Settings.
- 3Go to the Web API Tokens section and click Manage → Create API Token.
- 4Make sure to copy the token immediately — it is only shown once at creation.
- 5(Optional) Note down your Team ID if you want to explicitly scope calls to it, though Dex can automatically resolve this from your token.
Paste into Dex
The connection form in the Dex app store asks for these values:
Web API Token (Bearer)
Only shown once at creation.
Team ID
Optional — Dex can resolve this from your token.
