MSP360 RMM
Read MSP360 RMM endpoint telemetry from Dex - health, disks and SMART, software and updates, services, antivirus, and event-log counts.
Dex connects to MSP360 RMM through the Agent API v1 to read endpoint telemetry conversationally - fleet and per-device health summaries, disk usage and SMART status, installed software and pending updates, services and processes, antivirus state, event-log counts, and hardware. The API is read-only across all 29 routes, so Dex reports and flags but never reboots, patches, or runs scripts - for backup-side actions use the separate MSP360 Managed Backup app. Employees can check their own machine health through Dex Go. Available as an MSP global app with one shared RMM API token; because the API carries no company filter on any route, telemetry is a master or standalone capability and a child-scoped connection is refused by design.

How to configure MSP360 RMM
Onboarding takes minutes. Dex validates your credentials before saving them.
Setup steps
- 1In the MSP360 Management Console, go to Settings > General > RMM API tokens and choose "Add RMM API token".
- 2Pick the administrator the token will be bound to and save. The account needs a valid RMM license - Community Edition cannot issue RMM API tokens.
- 3In Dex, enable the MSP360 RMM integration and paste the RMM API token.
- 4Leave company_id blank on the MSP-master org and on any standalone org that holds its own token - those get full fleet telemetry. Setting it makes every RMM call from that org refuse, because the API has no company filter.
- 5Dex validates the token with a live fleet-summary read before saving.
Credentials required
- rmm_api_token
- RMM API token from Settings > General > RMM API tokens, bound to a named administrator with a valid RMM license
- company_id
- Leave blank on the MSP-master or standalone org for full telemetry; setting it scopes the org as a child tenant, which the read-only RMM API refuses on every route
Requirements
- •An MSP360 account with a valid RMM license and an RMM API token bound to an administrator
- •The API is read-only - Dex reads and flags telemetry but cannot reboot, patch, run scripts, or acknowledge alerts
- •For backup-side actions (run a backup plan, grant a license, create a user), use the separate MSP360 Managed Backup app
- •For MSPs, deploy as a global app; telemetry works on the MSP-master or standalone connection because the RMM API has no company filter to confine a call to one customer
