How to configure IT Glue

Onboarding takes minutes. Dex validates your credentials before saving them.

Setup steps

In IT Glue, go to Account > Settings > API Keys and create an API key for Dex.

Enable "Password Access" on the key if you need Dex to reveal stored password secrets.

Note your regional API base URL - https://api.itglue.com (US), https://api.eu.itglue.com (EU), or https://api.au.itglue.com (AU).

In Dex, enable the IT Glue integration and paste the API key and base URL.

For MSPs, leave Organization ID blank on the master connection and set the numeric IT Glue Organization ID on each tenant connection to confine it to that client.

Credentials required

api_key: IT Glue account API key from Account > Settings > API Keys - enable Password Access for password reveal (secret)
base_url: Regional API base URL: https://api.itglue.com (US), https://api.eu.itglue.com (EU), or https://api.au.itglue.com (AU)
organization_id: Numeric IT Glue Organization ID that confines a tenant connection to one client - leave blank on the MSP-master connection

•An IT Glue subscription with an account API key
•Password Access enabled on the key if Dex should reveal stored password secrets
•The correct regional base URL for your IT Glue account (US, EU, or AU)
